INSEPARABLE


INSEPARABLE
(Based on Romans 8:35-38)

What in this world will keep me from God?
Shall peril, sword, tribulation?
Distress, angels, or nakedness,
Famine or persecution?

None of these things will separate us—
Things present, nor things to come.
Not powers nor principalities,
Heighth or depth or creatures who roam.

God and I are inseparable;
One could say we are joined at the heart.
And even when mine stops beating,
Death will not do us part.
