Within these verses you will see that works includes what you do to help others and what work you do with your hands.
7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them: “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? 8 Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. Matt. 3:7-8
What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? ... James 2:14-26
She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands. Proverbs 31:13
Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate. Proverbs 31:31
The blacksmith takes a tool and works with it in the coals; he shapes an idol with hammers, he forges it with the might of his arm. He gets hungry and loses his strength; he drinks no water and grows faint. Isaiah 44:12 (Note that he shapes an idol. He gets no "points" for that.)
