The soul who sees his father’s sins, But chooses not to repeat them, Will not have to die for his father’s sins; God above will judge only him. If a good and righteous man, Does what is just and right, He will live eternally, When favor is found in God’s sight. But if in time a man becomes wicked, His good deeds will not be remembered. He will fall from grace and then, From Christ’s body will be dismembered. The righteous God will give credit, And He’ll charge the wicked man. WHOEVER IS NOT WITH ME IS AGAINST ME This concept holds true whatever the issue. If God forbids an act and we approve of it, we are working against Him. There is no riding the fence. You're either for Him or against Him, depending on your obedience to His Word. You may say "God forgives." Yes, God forgives, but only when we repent and change our behavior and thinking. We may not participate in certain evils but if we even support them, we are just as guilty as if we participated. By our law we call the person who supports evil acts an accessory. Here is the definition from Oxford Languages: "accessory: someone who gives assistance to the perpetrator of a crime, without directly committing it, sometimes without being present." There has long been a debate about whether or not you can fall out of God's grace once you accept Christ. Before I present scriptures that confirm whether or not you are always saved, no matter what, I need to define through scripture what saves us. Following are some of those scriptures: Matthew 10:22 - You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. Mark 16:16 - Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. Luke 7:50 - Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” Luke 13:23-24 Someone asked him, “Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?” He said to them, 24 “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door , because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.
