THE SUPREME RULER OF ALL NATIONS

(The fate of our nation and every nation is in His hands)

Psalm 2:10 - Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. 

11 Serve the LORD with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling. 12 Kiss his son, or he will be angry and your way will lead to your destruction, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

Psalm 22:28 - ...for dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations.

Psalm 33:10 - The Lord foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.

Psalm 33:12 - Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance.

Psalm 47:8 - God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne.

Psalm 66:7 - He rules forever by his power, his eyes watch the nations— let not the rebellious rise up against him.

Psalm 79:6 - Pour out your wrath on the nations that do not acknowledge you, on the kingdoms that do not call on your name;

Psalm 82:8 - Rise up, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are your inheritance.

Psalm 94:10 - Does he who disciplines nations not punish? Does he who teaches mankind lack knowledge?

Psalm 106:35 - ...but they mingled with the nations and adopted their customs.

Psalm 106:41 - He gave them into the hands of the nations, and their foes ruled over them.

Psalm 110:6 - He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead and crushing the rulers of the whole earth.

Psalm 135:15 - The idols of the nations are silver and gold, made by human hands.

Isaiah 1:4 - Woe to the sinful nation, a people whose guilt is great, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption! They have forsaken the Lord; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him.

Isaiah 26:2 - Open the gates that the righteous nation may enter, the nation that keeps faith.

Isaiah 31:2 - Yet he too is wise and can bring disaster; he does not take back his words. He will rise up against that wicked nation, against those who help evildoers.

Isaiah 34 - Judgment Against the Nations

Come near, you nations, and listen;

pay attention, you peoples!
Let the earth hear, and all that is in it,
the world, and all that comes out of it!
2 The Lord is angry with all nations;
his wrath is on all their armies.
He will totally destroy them,
he will give them over to slaughter.
3 Their slain will be thrown out,
their dead bodies will stink;
the mountains will be soaked with their blood.
4 All the stars in the sky will be dissolved
and the heavens rolled up like a scroll;
all the starry host will fall
like withered leaves from the vine,
like shriveled figs from the fig tree.

Isaiah 35:3 - Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; 4 say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.”

Rev. 1:5 - ...and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.
