SPIRITUAL DISEASES
Self-imposed diseases,
That are spiritual afflictions,
Are spread by the prince of darkness,
And are also called addictions.
Money, food, and material things--
What brings your life discord?
Sports, sex, gambling, and work--
There’s a virtual smorgasbord.
Jesus can bring you healing;
He will bathe you in Sonlight.
It may take a dose of reality,
And a feverish spiritual fight.
You will not enter heaven,
If your soul is sick with sin.
Let the Spirit into your heart;
Only then can the cure begin.
